It feels so good!!
Today I got my ISIC card. Besides the fact that I can use it for discounts everywhere (movies, flights, london underground, etc.) .... I am officially a student! Again!! Aaahhh! If feels goooood! Where's the party tonight? :-)

I paid 6 Euros for it. Yes, I believe it is worth it. For now, the things that I'm expecting to use it more are for movie tickets and cheaper flights. I am not sure if this is enough for London Underground discounts, though. On the TfL website, they say somewhere that with a valid Student photocard we can buy travelcards with a 30% discount. But elsewhere, they say that we have to obtain a discount scheme application form from our school.

May I ask what documents do you have to provide for getting the ISIC? :) Your acceptance confirmation from LBS?

KV: I think it's definitely worth it: I've heard you get a 25% discount on the Heathrow Express from and to Heathrow and also discounts on a lot of flights (for instance KLM offers cheap one way tickets, which otherwise would be quite expensive. 40 euros one way from Amsterdam to London (excl tax) ). I'm getting one too!!!!
